If there’s a corner of the visual effects world Rachel hasn’t worked in, it’s probably still under construction. From feature films to episodic content, commercials, video games, virtual production and AI – she has worked across them all.
With over twenty years in the industry, Rachel has built a reputation as a highly technical, solutions-oriented producer with a knack for bringing order to chaos. The kind of chaos that comes with ambitious, large-scale productions, that would make most people break a sweat.
On the facilities side, she has worked with industry majors including Framestore, Digital Domain, Pixomondo, and Zoic. On the client side, she served as VFX Producer at 20th Century Studios, working on White Men Can’t Jump. She has also held the role of Los Angeles–based Executive Producer at WeFX.
Her credits span major films such as Spiderhead, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Tron: Legacy and 2012, along with streaming series Upload and Perry Mason. Beyond film and television, Rachel has led VFX on over 50 commercial campaigns for global brands including Apple, Disney, Nike, Universal and Gatorade, and contributed to AAA video games such as Ghost of Tsushima, Destiny, Halo and Batman: Arkham Origins.
When she’s not untangling complex productions, Rachel can be found in the kitchen or tending to her garden. At home, she’s kept on her toes by her husband, two daughters, Katy and Kira (who at ages three and one, are already running their own high-energy production), and two cats named Ripley and Rambo – of course a VFX producer with a love for sci-fi and comedy wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Rachel is exactly the kind of producer you want on your team. She’s detail-oriented, relationship-driven and has the ability to balance creative intuition with operational rigor,” said Hitesh Shah, Founder & CEO of BOT VFX. “We’re absolutely delighted to have her on board.”
